Leighanne, called lily by family and friends and Bleazton by her good friends at the pub, died 17 jan 2014, on her dads birthday, who was sat by her side during her last days in the hospice. 6 weeks before her 26th birthday, 6 months after diagnosis and 12 hour surgery for a GBM tumour. Lily astounded all who were involved in her treatment and care by her constant humour throughout, starting with the drs who broke the news to her after 6 months of misdiagnosis.” You mean I have a brain!”
